The library operates a storytelling program where little children are introduced to the world of picture books to get used to reading books and find pleasure in it.


Date	11 a.m. to noon every Saturday

Location	The Storytelling room at Resources for children

Participants and Capacity	30 Children at the age of 5 to 7

Application	On the library web page on a first-come-first-served basis (max 10) In person at the library on a first-come-first-served basis (max 20)

The audio and video room which is equipped with a three-dimensional sound and video facility forms and operates a regular program such as a film(video image) and music per theme each month.

And it operates the program of 『Film appreciation along with friends(family)』 to help develop the sentiment of children and form a common ground among family members with respect to children, young adults, and family who are interested in film outside of the regular program.

	It is the program to introduce cultures, manners and customs in several countries abroad in cooperation with foreign embassies stationed in Korea, read traditional fairy tales and creative fairy tales, enabling children to access diverse cultures in the world and providing them with the opportunity to gain the relevant knowledge and experience.


	To help develop children's sentiment and activate the use of library, we hold the puppet show and exhibit related books to enhance the understanding on a performance and instill the interest on reading.


	Feature exhibition
	The National Library for Children and Young Adults holds the feature exhibition directly organized by the library each year to support the academic and cultural activities of children and young adults. In addition, it holds the exhibitions of diverse forms including the joint exhibition with institutions and groups relating to children and young adults, sponsored exhibition, and leased exhibition, etc.

	Library fair with the theme of children
	It is the program to provide the chance to introduce the related materials in possession to users who visit the library with the theme to give a joy of reading to children and the educational and instructive theme each session and to induce the interest on reading and the use of library.

	Library fair with the theme of young adults
	The book exhibition with the theme of children is a program to instill the interest of reading in young adults by exhibiting the books on particular theme in Young Adults' Collection to be easily noticed. By determining a useful theme helpful for young adults per quarter, we exhibit 4 times a year and provide the list of exhibition to users who want.
