Read Me a Book
Supporting the spread of “Read Me a Book” throughout the nation
- “Read Me a Book” is the most effective way in getting children to enjoy reading. The National Library for Children and Young Adults is creating and spreading the image of a country that enjoys reading while improving the linguistic ability of children and forming good reading habits through the “Read Me a Book” program with other nationwide libraries.
- Nationwide libraries
- All year round
- Key content
- Librarians and volunteers (young adults) carry out one to one reading to children. And by wearing a ‘yellow apron’ while implementing the 'Read Me a Book' program, an image of 'Yellow apron = a person who reads aloud‘ is created.
- * What NLCY provides : Yellow aprons, program manager workshops; manuals, etc.
